In support of the Honduran Foundation for Children with Cancer, Roman Knit Honduras (RKH) celebrated \"Yellow Day\" at its facilities, a program that seeks to raise awareness about the twelve symptoms of childhood cancer.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"Yellow Day\" is a special program where company employees wear yellow by purchasing the Foundation's official t-shirt for 150 lempiras. This initiative allows employees to visibly show their support while directly contributing to the cause.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Education and Awareness<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

During the event, the Foundation provides an educational talk of approximately fifteen minutes to RKH employees. This presentation covers the twelve symptoms of childhood cancer, crucial information that can aid in early detection and save lives.<\/p>

Raising awareness is the first step toward creating change. Many of our employees are parents, uncles, grandparents, and knowing these symptoms allows them to be vigilant in their own communities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In this way, RKH and its employees carry out social responsibility activities to benefit those most in need. This is not just a corporate activity: it is a genuine commitment from our company and our staff to the Honduran community.<\/p>

The purpose of sharing this initiative is to motivate other companies to also reach out to the community.
